I learned to make saddles on my own. Reading books, try a lot and good hands are the necessary.
About saddles to be a good rider help a lot in their design. Be a good leather craftsman is not enough
Yes all the wooden works in my gallery were done by me so I do have great faith in my hands. It's just I never like spending time on such a project without knowing I'm doing it correctly.
Write a tutorial? Maybe, I have many photos of WIP, but make a good tutorial require long time and now I don't have it. I can go to look my books and reply here the title and the author.

I understand what you mean, tutorials do take a lot of time to make anything useful particularly for a project as complex as a saddle.

Anyway since it's not more published I plan to put it on web for free download. I need to find original files and convert in PDF. It's old ones and I need time for look in old archives.
